    Meet our lecturers

    Associate Professor Burkhard Schrage

    Associate Head of Department, Management. He is a scholar and practitioner of Strategic Management, with teaching and research experience at institutions including Singapore Management University, Wharton School, and Harvard Business School. He held key positions at UBS-Pactual, Credit Suisse and HSBC in international markets.

    Dr Santiago Velasquez

    Interim Senior Program Manager, MBA & MIB. He has over 10 years of teaching experience in Finland, India and Colombia. He was the Regional Manager for Latin America and General Manager in Vietnam for a Finnish forestry solutions company. His expertise spans management accounting, design thinking, international business development and market analysis.

    Dr Tony Nguyen

    Interim Associate Program Manager, MBA. He holds a PhD in International Business from the USA, and a Master's of Business Administration from the USA. His current research interests are centred around leadership strategies and human resource initiatives that aim to promote employee behaviours.

    Associate Professor Agnis Stibe

    As an MIT alumnus and 4x TEDx speaker. He founded the Transforming Wellbeing Theory. He led Persuasive Cities research at the MIT Media Lab. His research interests are human-AI collaboration, organisational hyper-performance, knowledge behaviour gap model, social influence model and persuasive cities.

    Dr Joel Hassan

    Lecturer, International Business. He holds a PhD in International Business from New Zealand. Having worked in New Zealand, China, and the USA, his teaching and research areas include firm resilience, geoeconomics and geopolitics, deglobalisation and strategic responses to VUCA in the international business environment.

    Dr Nguyen Quynh Phuong

    Lecturer, Management. She used to taught at Shiv Nadar University (India) and the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand) and few other countries. Prior to academia, Dr. Phuong worked with the International Organization for Migration in London and Ho Chi Minh City. Her research interests focus on sustainability, women and entrepreneurship, and design thinking.

    Dr Eckart Dutz

    Entrepreneur, consultant, and Adjunct Professor with 25+ years in Vietnam. He holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Germany. As General Director of Pacific Partners (VN) Ltd., he leads FMCG distribution and strategy and operational consulting. He co-founded Vietnam Supply Chain, and teaches Business Consulting and Supply Chain Management at RMIT.

    Dr Nguyen Thi Van Anh

    Lecturer, Digital Marketing. She has more than ten years of experience teaching and working in marketing, communications, public relations, and event management. Her research focuses on consumer behaviour in the omnichannel retailing context, customer experience, corporate social responsibility communication, and digital transformation.
