Does a multicultural workforce automatically create a competitive advantage?
As organisations become more multicultural and AI reshapes how work gets done, HR and business leaders are facing new questions about culture, leadership and the way people work together.
The RMIT – Deloitte HR Roundtable 2026 brings together senior HR and business leaders, Deloitte Human Capital experts and RMIT academics to challenge assumptions around the “multicultural advantage” and explore "cultural debt" – what can accumulate when organisational culture, systems and ways of working fail to keep pace with change.
Join the conversation to explore what organisations may need to keep, rethink or leave behind for a multicultural and AI-enabled workforce.
For HR leaders, building a diverse workforce is only part of the challenge.
The bigger question is whether leadership, culture and people practices are equipped to turn diversity into organisational value, particularly as AI becomes embedded in the way organisations recruit, collaborate, develop and make decisions.
