Event overview

Sustainability Fest returns to Hanoi campus, bringing together students, staff and partners for three days of activities that encourage more conscious and sustainable everyday choices. Hosted by the Students & Education Portfolio in collaboration with the Library, Careers, Alumni & Industry Relations, Student Life, student clubs and community partners, the festival celebrates the power of reusing, sharing and giving back through practical, community-driven initiatives. This year's festival explores how small actions can contribute to a more sustainable campus community. From donating and exchanging pre-loved items to learning about circular economy initiatives and connecting with social enterprises, participants are invited to discover simple ways to reduce waste while supporting local communities.

Across the three days, participants can:

  • Donate clothes and accessories for the flea market
  • Explore the Library's Sustainability Exhibition
  • Join Careers, Alumni & Industry Relations on an industry visit to Vụn Art, a social enterprise creating opportunities for people with disabilities through upcycled art
  • Exchange pre-loved items at the Flea Market
  • Take part in interactive activities hosted by RMIT departments, student clubs and community partners
