You can re-register for a new team, however, this should be done before the submission deadline (9 November). You should inform and clarify with the Organising Committee in advance to complete the re-registration to a new team.
The team leader is in charge of work allocation among the team by dividing suitable tasks for each team member to work on and is the point of contact between the Organising Committee and the team if you need any support.
Changing team leader is feasible. You must inform the Organising Committee about this change in advance. The Organising Committee will consider this on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, the Organising Committee will also reply to emails received from other team members. In this case, the other team members have to refer to their team's name when emailing the Organising Committee, as a point of reference. However, we still encourage the leader to be the main point of contact.
The rubric will be kept only for the judges.
No late submission is acceptable. We encourage teams to submit their project as early as possible. It is not recommended to submit the project close to the deadline.
After submission, teams will receive an email from the Organising Team to confirm their submission the following day. If you have submitted your work, but don't receive a confirmation email within 24 hours after submitting your proposal, please contact the Organising Committee as soon as possible.
For the Preliminary round, we only accept the business plan submission in a PDF format. All videos have to be submitted in MP4 format or MOV format.
If we cannot access your submissions successfully, your submission will not be considered for grading.
The competition is entirely conducted in English, including the plan, media pitching kit (video), workshops and Final pitching round. Hence, all your submissions and presentations should also be in English only.
There is no word limit for the business plan. However, try to keep your business plan brief and concise. It is optional for teams to follow (but not be limited by) the submission guideline format.
