The ultimate corporate social responsibility

About this event

In a world of rising geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty, how can businesses become a force for peace?

Join us for an insightful public talk by Professor Mike Peng, one of the world’s most cited scholars in global strategy. He will introduce a bold new vision of corporate social responsibility (CSR) - one that goes beyond charity and sustainability to focus on building peace through global trade and investment.

This event also marks the soft launch of the Asia Academy of Management (AAOM) conference 2026, a major international gathering of scholars and practitioners in business and management, set to be hosted in RMIT Vietnam in 2026.

Topics to be discussed

  • How global trade and investment can promote peace
  • The risks of economic decoupling and trade wars
  • Policymakers and organisational leaders seeking business-driven solutions for peace
