The Livebrary: RMIT Alumni Impact Showcase

Background

The year 2025 marks a remarkable 25-year journey of RMIT University in Vietnam. Over this period, our alumni have made significant contributions to both the RMIT community and broader economic and social development. Their impactful works stand as a testament to the lasting impact of RMIT education.

As part of RMIT University Vietnam's 25th anniversary celebrations and in partnership with Australian Government, The Livebrary: RMIT Alumni Impact Showcase proudly honors the inspiring and meaningful journeys of our alumni, highlighting their work across diverse sectors, industries, and regions.

Purpose

We’re building The Livebrary to keep your alumni stories alive because every lesson they’ve overcome can spark new beginnings, forge future leaders, and fuel fresh innovation.

Timeline

  • There is no limit to the number of eligible projects, organizations, or initiatives featured in the online showcase.
  • An alumnus may submit multiple entries, provided each meets at least one of the values listed below.

Once an eligible interest form is submitted and all information is verified, the work will be featured in the online showcase starting from this date.

To celebrate RMIT Vietnam’s 25th anniversary, 25 alumni-led projects, organizations, or initiatives that reflect the diversity of our community will be exhibited in an offline showcase. These representatives will come from different cohorts, generations, backgrounds, locations, and industries.

Eligibility

The showcase is open to all alumni who meet the following conditions:

  • Hold a graduate certificate, diploma, bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree from RMIT University.
  • Lead a project initiative, business or organization through which they make a positive impact on the economy, industry, or community.

Values of impact

There are many ways in which a project or organization can positively impact society. If your work meets at least one of the following values, you are welcome to submit an interest form for the online showcase.

Transformation

Recognizes work that has significantly changed or improved an industry, community, or the economy, creating a positive impact by the time you apply.

Empowerment

Honors work that helps individuals, teams, or communities fulfil their potential, whether through education, support, or providing opportunities.

Inspiration

Shows the motivation and passion behind your work, the drive to create change, and the determination to push through challenges.

Creation

Highlights original work that stands out in any field, be it art & creativity, business, or technology that inspires people or an initial solution to meet people's needs.

Sustainability

Celebrates work that creates long-term benefits for the environment, society, or the economy, through sustainable and responsible decisions and solutions.

Fee

Participation in the showcase is completely free. Alumni do not need to pay any fees to submit an interest form or have their work featured.
