Mission statement

The Future of Digitally Enhanced Learning Summit is the flagship event of RMIT Vietnam’s 20th anniversary Vietnam Leads series, delivered in partnership by RMIT University and Global Victoria.

As the closing event of RMIT Vietnam’s 20th anniversary celebrations across 2020/2021, the Summit is a point of reflection and celebration of the ongoing policy engagement and joint leadership by RMIT, the Vietnamese Government, the Australian and Victorian Governments, together with other Vietnamese and Australian higher education institutions in the online and digitally enhanced education space.

The Summit will draw on international expertise from a panel of distinguished speakers to explore the future of digitally enhanced learning for Vietnam and the region with a particular focus on the relationships between technology and education.

As Vietnam leverages digital transformation for post-COVID-19 economic recovery, the Summit will showcase the latest digital innovations of Victorian Universities such as virtual laboratories, remote 3D printing and artificial intelligence powered learning personalisations, and discuss how these technologies can be applied to deliver effective education solutions for learners of today and tomorrow in Vietnam and the region.

With participation from senior level representations of the Vietnamese Government, the Australian and Victorian Governments, leading Vietnamese and Australian higher education institutions and education technology organisations, the Summit seeks to provide an opportunity to expand thought leadership and policy insight around the future of online and digitally enhanced learning.
