About

Dr Hellmut "Helmet" Monz is a university educator and universe philosopher. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Arts and Design, and a PhD in Media and Communication. He has worked as a designer in New York, Berlin, and Melbourne, and has contributed to design research at Austrian and Australian universities. A teaching award winner and published author, his creative work has been screened at the Oscar-qualifying South by Southwest (SXSW) and at Ars Electronica, one of the world’s leading media art venues. He currently serves as Associate Program Manager of Digital Media at RMIT University Vietnam.
