About

Hussein-Elhakim Al Issa is a Management Lecturer at RMIT University Vietnam. His research combines organisational theory, entrepreneurship, and innovation to explore how resources and capabilities build resilience and performance in dynamic environments, increasingly with an eye toward sustainability and AI-enabled learning in higher education. Widely published in leading journals, he teaches Innovation Management, Leadership, and Business in Society, co-supervises doctoral candidates, and has held a visiting professorship at HEC Montréal, collaborating on social entrepreneurship education and research via the Social Business Creation program. He is also National Team Lead for the GUESSS (2025) Survey and Country Co-Investigator for the GLOBE Project (2020).

Principal Consultant – Learning for Life Inc. Educational Ventures (2017–present): Designed and delivered workshops on strategy, leadership, business planning, and accounting for entrepreneurs.
