The library welcomes visiting students from RMIT Australia

On April 1st, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 60 students and staff from RMIT Melbourne to our Saigon South campus. Their visit focused on exploring our library and campus spaces as part of a project aimed at reimagining student and staff spaces in the library.

It was delightful to see the energy and curiosity they brought into the library. From observing how our library spaces are being utilised, to connecting them to the broader global university perspective, they dove deep into understanding how our environment supports learning, collaboration, and community.

Beyond the essence of a study abroad experience, the visit sparked many rich conversations between our guests and local Vietnamese students and staff. Sharing stories and experiences about how different campus cultures and spaces function helped uncover creative ideas that go beyond borders. These moments of cross-university exchange reminded us of the strength and values of RMIT, especially when it comes to shaping inclusive, engaging and altered learning environments.

We cannot wait to see the fruitful outcomes the visiting team will propose and look forward to implementing them where possible. Their insights are sure to contribute meaningfully to how we continue to evolve our library as a welcoming, forward-thinking space that meets the diverse needs of our community.
