Global outlook

As one of the world's most globalised universities, RMIT is committed to providing students with the learning, teaching and research training to excel in an open world economy.

In addition to its presence in Vietnam, RMIT has an extensive global reach that includes:

  • A postgraduate research and industry collaboration centre in Barcelona, Spain.
  • Offshore programs. RMIT enrols 11,000 students through 16 partners in Singapore, Hong Kong, mainland China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Belgium, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
  • Research and industry partnerships on every continent.
  • Of RMIT’s 82,000 students, 15 per cent are international students in Australia and 23 per cent are international students outside Australia including at RMIT Vietnam. But it’s not just the student body that is globally diverse – RMIT Vietnam staff come from more than thirty-four different countries, and students benefit from the breadth of knowledge, experience, global awareness and cultural perspectives they bring to the University.
