Great Place to Work HRM Forum: Building Great Workplaces in Vietnam

Event overview

Welcome to RMIT - GPTW HRM Forum entitled “Building Great Workplaces in Vietnam”!

Since the Vietnam economy has been transforming into a service and manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia as well as a place of opportunities for FDI, the scope and size of organizations in Vietnam have been growing rapidly. However, since Vietnam is a unique nation with different cultures and social contexts, maintaining a motivational workforce is challenging for both local and foreign-invested businesses. Moreover, the Covid-19 outbreak has formed a very different context of the society we are living in compared to the pre-pandemic, which makes the pre-pandemic best practices outdated and obsolete. Since employee turnover can cost two to three times of annual salary, it’s critical to understand how to build a great place to work based on the unique organizational context. Since Great Place To Work has been globally and locally studying this critical question over the last few years, we would like to invite industry experts, academics, and real organizations to understand the different contexts and motivational factors forming a sustainable workforce in Vietnam. This will help industry leaders and practitioners in HR/People management build a truly great place to work, especially in this post-pandemic era forming different assumptions behind HR/people management.

We look forward to you joining us at this exciting event!
