Santiago Velasquez joined the School of Management of RMIT University Vietnam in 2021. He has solid practitioner’s experience in the field of forestry and digital solutions where he was positioned by Simosol Oy (now part of AFRY) as Regional Manager for Latin America and Director for Vietnam. Currently, he lectures Global Business and Design Thinking, two courses which allow him to share his experience in business, management and product localisation. Santiago also serves as advisor for multiple companies in projects related to Due Diligence, supply chain analysis, and wood processing joint ventures. He has a PhD in management accounting and his current research interests include institutional theory, application of blockchain in carbon-forestry, and plant based entrepreneurship.
