Dr. Pradeepa Jayaratne has over 15 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy in Transport and logistics sector. Prior to joining RMIT, she worked as an Associate Professor at the Iqra University, Pakistan and served as the Head of the Higher Degree Research Department. Before that she was attached to University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka as a Senior Lecturer/Consultant. She has also served as a sessional lecturer at the Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong in Australia from 2010 to 2013.  Before joining UOW she was attached to University of Moratuwa and served as a visiting lecturer for several state and private universities in Sri Lanka. She has teaching and research experience in key education institutes in Canada, Australia, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.  She has been an active professional in the transport and logistics field where she involved in active research, consultancy, and industry projects.
