1. What can we help you with?
Did you know?
RMIT’s timetabling system is called myTimetable. The link to myTimetable and important dates can be found here.

You can check for potential class-times of unenrolled courses by accessing myTimetable, using the "Search" function at the left end of the web page, enter the course code, then you can see the timetable for the courses you are searching for.
Did you know?
When myTimetable opens for class-group selection, you can click under the icon "i" and then select the preferred class. The timetable for the course will change from red (not allocated) to green (allocated) for every successful allocation.
Did you know?
During the timetable selection period, you can use the myTimetable swap 'heart' function to request a place in a full class.

Follow these steps to make a swap request:
- Log in to myTimetable
- In myTimetable system, click on the course and activity you want to swap (e.g. ECON1234), and you'll be presented with alternative time options offered for the class.
- Next to each class that's full you'll see a heart. Click on the heart to request a place in the class.

If a place becomes available, the system will automatically allocate you to your requested class and remove you from your original class.

NOTE: If you submit a swap request but change your mind, remember to remove the request by clicking on the heart again.

If all classes offered are full, you can submit an enquiry through the Student Connect Online Portal below. Please include the course code, e.g. BUSM1234 in the enquiry for further assistance.
Did you know?
For clashes with personal commitments, please use the myTimetable swap ‘heart’ function to request a place in a full class – if a place becomes available, you’ll automatically be allocated to the class.

If you have an unavoidable clash between core courses, you should submit an enquiry through the Student Connect Online Portal below.
Did you know?
If you have recently changed your enrolment via Online Enrolment, you will need to wait for your enrolment to process before appearing on myTimetable. This process usually takes 60 minutes.

If you can see your course on the Enrolment panel, but it appears as "No activity group available", then your course may not have been entered into myTimetable yet or your school will assign your class group. Please check myTimetable again later and/ or check your Canvas to see if there is any announcement about the course.

You can also contact us for further support if you cannot find any updates following the above instruction.
