Learning, teaching & assessment

  • Teaching methods include face-to-face delivery, tutorials, workshops and industry seminars.
  • Ongoing assessment throughout the semester includes examinations, essays, reports, presentations, group projects, research projects, laboratory projects and practical assignments.

In this program, you will learn and apply the relevance and utility of a range of international business theories dealing with complex issues in international trade, finance and management. You will gain knowledge about the influences of political, economic, social and cultural factors on international business, and socially responsible business practice globally. You will develop skills and abilities to manage business in a variety of contexts, and apply your knowledge and skills to think critically, creatively and morally about functions and strategies of international business organisations in competitive business environments.

On the successful completion of this program you will be equipped to:

  1. Apply broad theoretical and technical knowledge of business practice in diverse contexts.
  2. Integrate specialist theoretical knowledge with technical skills to provide in-depth specialist and professional advice related to digital business operations and strategy, leadership, transformation of organisations, financial technologies, digital marketing, cybercrime and privacy and ethical standards.
  3. Critically analyse and synthesise information to formulate effective business decisions.
  4. Apply reasoned judgements to solve problems in a variety of business contexts with reference to ethical, regulatory and global perspectives.
  5. Reflect on performance feedback to identify and action strategies for improvement.
  6. Communicate business data and concepts to professionals and non-professionals in diverse contexts.
  7. Apply an adaptive and collaborative approach to working with others in a variety of business and professional contexts.
  8. Integrate and apply professional theory with practice in authentic Work Integrated Learning (WIL) contexts.

Further studies

When you successfully complete this program, you may be eligible for entry into an RMIT honours or postgraduate program in Vietnam and Australia.



Students can choose standard fee or fixed fee program. Payments can be made each semester, on a course-by-course basis.

(*) Fixed Fees are offered to brand new students who would like to fix their course tuition fees for a specified period of a Higher Education degree program. The fixed fee program guards against potential fee increases and currency fluctuations. 


  1. The duration of programs is flexible and can be adapted on an individual basis upon enrolment.
  2. Program fees are priced and invoiced in Vietnam Dong (VND).
  3. Payment in other currencies will be converted to VND at the exchange rate on that day. Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment.
  4. The fees in USD are ONLY applicable to those international students who arrange for payment from overseas, as per Circular No. 32/2013/TT-NHNN.

Entry requirements

Academic requirements

  • High school graduation diploma with a minimum GPA of 7.0/10.0 for Grade 12, for other international qualifications please view entry requirements by country​; 
  • If you have completed or partially completed a similar program at another institution you may be accepted with some academic credit, or exemptions, being granted toward this program.

English requirements

Successfully complete RMIT English Advanced or complete one of the following English proficiency tests:

  • IELTS (Academic) 6.5+ (no band below 6.0)
  • TOEFL iBT 79+ (with minimum score of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) 58+ (no communication band below 50)
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Proficiency (CPE) 176+ (no band below 169)

TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson and Cambridge results are recognised for two years from the test date. RMIT English results are recognised for one year from the test date.
