The RMIT Vietnam Postgraduate scholarships are open to new students applying for study in the Master of Artificial Intelligence or Master of Cyber Security coursework programs. The scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, work experience, community involvement, and leadership.

There are 06 scholarships in total. Each scholarship is worth 50% off the program tuition fee.

Semester 2 in 2022 (June)

  • 03 scholarships for the Master of Artificial Intelligence program

Semester 3 in 2022 (October)

  • 01 scholarship for the Master of Artificial Intelligence program 
  • 02 scholarship for the Master of Cyber Security program


RMIT Vietnam reserves the right to adjust the values and allocation of scholarships at its discretion.

Once accepted, the scholarship cannot be transferred to another degree program.

Selection criteria

Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, work experience, community involvement, and leadership. The selection process includes screening, shortlisting, and interview.

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Interview date is subject to change.

Scholarship application requirements

Besides the regular Application to study at RMIT Vietnam, you are required to provide the following supporting documents for the scholarship application: 

1. A personal statement of maximum 500 words outlining:

  • How a postgraduate degree in your selected program from RMIT Vietnam will help you achieve your study and career goals;
  • Your plans for the future;
  • Why you are a good candidate for the postgraduate scholarship.

2. A copy of your CV

3. Two letters of recommendation from a manager, colleague or lecturer

Note: RMIT Vietnam will only consider candidates who have provided all required documents by the scholarship application deadline.

Semester 2 in 2022

  • 5pm (GMT+7), 23 May 2022: Application deadline
  • 13 June 2022: Scholarship recipients notified

Semester 3 in 2022

  • 5pm (GMT+7), 12 September 2022: Application deadline
  • 03 October 2022: Scholarship recipients notified
