President’s Scholars are identified among those scholarship applicants who have achieved exceptional academic results and leadership while at high school. If chosen, you are offered the opportunity to study the degree of your choice and to participate in development programs to prepare you as a future leader. This is an annual scholarship which can be applied to candidates who meet all entry requirements for a Bachelor program at RMIT Vietnam.


Academic requirements:

  • Completion of grade 12 in Vietnam
  • Completion of a grade 12 GPA of minimum 9.0/ 10.0; or completion of International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a minimum of 35 points in total; or completion of GCE ‘A’ Levels (UK) with 12 points for three Advanced subjects (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1)

Selection criteria

President’s Scholars are awarded on merit, and take into account past academic performance, passion for success, creativity, engagement with community involvement and future leadership potential.

There is a screening, shortlisting and interview process, currently academic performance is weighted as follows: 60% GPA year 12 + 30% GPA Year 11 + 10% GPA Year 10.

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.
