Overview

These scholarships are available exclusively to new students enrolling in the Bachelor of Digital Film and Video, who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement as well as creative potential:

  • 50% of higher education tuition fees (2 scholarships available)

Eligibility

Academic requirements

  • Be a citizen of Vietnam;
  • Completion of a grade 12 GPA of minimum 7.0/10.0; or completion of International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a minimum of 25 points in total; or completion of GCE ‘A’ Levels (UK) with 7 points for three Advanced subjects (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1);
  • Completion of IELTS (academic) 6.5+ (no band below 6.0).

Scholarship application requirements

Applicants should create and submit:

  • An original video (between thirty seconds and one minute) that highlights the applicant’s passion for storytelling, photography and/or editing.
  • A ‘making of video (between thirty seconds and one minute) to demonstrate that the original video is created entirely by the applicant.

The theme for the original video as well as format and upload instructions will be announced on the website of the Digital Film and Video program.

Note: once accepted, this scholarship cannot be transferred to any other degree.

Key dates

  • Monday, 27 January 2020, 5pm (GMT+7): Scholarship application deadline
  • 10 February 2020: Scholarship recipients notified
  • October 2020: Award ceremonies in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi

Notes: your scholarship application will only be considered eligible when:

  • You have provided all required documents by the scholarship deadline
  • A notarised copy of your high school transcript and diploma is submitted to RMIT Vietnam by 14 February 2020.
