The Hinrich Foundation is providing 25 scholarships to students participating in the first cohort – the February 2020 intake – of the Master of Global Trade.

The scholarships, each valued at about US$16,000 and covering the first eight courses, will be awarded to middle-management staff at industry partner organisations that are engaged with the program.

Industry partners can nominate internal staff and external candidates to receive scholarships. Other aspiring applicants may alert their employer to the opportunity for scholarships.

Internal scholarship nominees must continue to work full time while completing the program. External nominees will have the opportunity to further connect with, or even be hired by, industry partners.

The Hinrich Foundation will continue to provide significant tuition scholarships for future intakes in alignment with the goal of advancing sustainable global trade through trade leadership development.

In addition to the RMIT entry requirements, Hinrich Foundation requires:

  • Minimum of 3 years' working experience
  • A genuine passion for Global Trade
  • 500-word essay outlining how the Master of Global Trade and the Hinrich Foundation’s pathway of "aspire, learn, grow, and lead" will help the candidate achieve his or her future ambitions in global trade.
  • Interview with the Hinrich-RMIT Scholarship Committee, to identify a strong match and alignment for the scholarship opportunity

Scholarships are awarded based on meeting all of the requirements above, with a priority on individuals with 5+ years of work experience who demonstrate strong potential to make a long-term commitment to their company as they take on new leadership roles.
