UniSTART* for Engineering is an informal pathway that prepares you for undergraduate study by developing your English language and your study skills at a manageable pace.
Successfully complete UniSTART (Engineering) to enter the:
Your English entry point into UniSTART depends on your English ability, so we can tailor your study to suit your needs. For example, students with IELTS (Academic) 6.0+ are exempt from the first semester of UniSTART.
You will receive academic credit for the undergraduate courses you successfully complete as part of your UniSTART studies. By successfully completing UniSTART courses with 1.0 GPA or above, you can transition to your chosen Bachelor program at RMIT University Vietnam.
*UniSTART is a non-AQF award, which means it is not a recognised qualification in Australia.
Your 25 hours of additional support also includes pre-course activities at each English level.
These are designed to get you on track to study smart right from the start.

Once you’re up and running you’ll enjoy projects mid-semester, such as developing employment strategies in the Pre-Advanced course, and improving your research skills in Advanced.
Students can choose standard fee or fixed fee program.
(*) Fixed Fees are offered to brand new students who would like to fix their course tuition fees for a specified period of a Unistart pathway. The fixed fee program guards against potential fee increases and currency fluctuations. All fees noted above with * are fixed fees, and are correct for 2020.

Note: TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson and Cambridge results are recognised for two years from the test date. RMIT English results are recognised for one year from the test date.
