Corporate English

We work closely with you, our industry partners and clients, to tailor unique English programs that can empower your workforce.

English is increasingly becoming the global language, and to be a leader in your industry, you'll want your staff to use English in a way that demonstrates not just competence, but excellence.

RMIT University Vietnam can help you to build the English skills that your staff needs to excel in a multinational environment. Work with us to tailor a program that suits the development needs and time restraints of your workforce. Whether you're looking for a short course working on a specific skill area, or a more regular, ongoing solution, we can make it work for you.

Think about the needs of your workforce: Where are the needs-gaps?

To date, we've developed training solutions for our clients in a range of areas, including:

  • Networking

  • Leading meetings

  • Negotiating

  • Handling conflict

  • Writing emails/reports

  • Telephoning

  • Customer service/support.

But don't feel restricted to these – our training solutions are limited only by the needs of your workforce.

Study tours

We provide customised study tours for overseas students. These tours are fully supervised and can include English for University courses, day trips, and industry visits. Accommodation, catering, and pastoral support can all be arranged through RMIT Vietnam.

Teacher training

We are delighted to be able to share our knowledge with other educators through short, tailored teacher training courses, and in particular our program focused on larger class sizes. Our educators are all highly educated, experienced, enthusiastic and committed to maximising each participant’s potential. Many hold Masters level qualifications in specialisations such as Educational Technology, TESOL, Applied Linguistics or Education, and have presented internationally at conferences on topics including fostering autonomy, project-based learning, 21st century skills, and cross-cultural teaching of English for Specific Purposes.

The School of English & University Pathways offers an undergraduate degree, the Bachelor of Languages, that includes a major in Translating and Interpreting, with associated elective courses. We are able to utilise this collective body of knowledge across a wide range of English language teaching to develop and continually update our programs, and also to offer training to educators from other organisations.
