Your transition into RMIT University begins here! Orientation Day is intended to help new students acclimate to the new university environment.

How2RMIT workshops provide essential information that will help new students get ready and organised to make a smooth start to the semester and succeed at RMIT. 

Sessions will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. Download the Microsoft Teams desktop app via the Office 365 Education website (log in with your RMIT student email eg. s1234567@student.rmit.edu.vn). If you need more IT support, click here

We recommend that you use a desktop or laptop computer with stable internet connection when you attend How2RMIT online sessions.

During Orientation, new students have received Newbie Buzz from the University for important information before starting their new journey at RMIT. You can revisit the links below to read Newbie Buzz:

A welcoming package, Newbie Kit, will be delivered with your first RMIT student ID card. Let’s bookmark on your calendar the pickup dates and times:  

  • At SGS campus: Thursday 24 February and Friday 25 February; from 9am to 4pm 

  • At Hanoi campus: Friday 25 February; from 9am to 4pm

Newbie Kit will be available for you to collect until 11 March, so don’t miss out this special welcoming package which is customized for only new commencing students this semester!
