Congratulations! We are excited to welcome you to RMIT Vietnam!

Your Orientation Week starts on Monday, 21 October - that's when your RMIT journey begins!

How to navigate your student life smoothly? How to find information at RMIT? It's not so difficult. There are many intriguing activities and insightful workshops for you to get familiar with RMIT's student services, and study environment, and make new friends!

Welcome Day: 21 October

Monday, 21 October is the Welcome Day for new students at RMIT Vietnam Saigon South (SGS) and Hanoi campuses.

For many of you, Welcome Day is your first day visiting RMIT campuses. You will collect your RMIT student card, take a campus tour, and discover all student support services at the Service Fair. There are also fun on-campus activities and entertainment, along with opportunities to socialise with other new students.

If you are also interested in study overseas, How2Get-Ahead workshop will cover everything you need to know about exchanging or transferring program, as well as global study opportunities available at RMIT.

International student induction: 23 & 25 October

If you're an international student coming to RMIT Vietnam, this induction sure is not to miss. You will get essential information for international students in Vietnam such as visa, health insurance, and especially, RMIT's buddy program - where you make friends with local students and attend cultural activities.

School and Program Inductions: from 30 October to 4 November

After getting used to RMIT's student services, it's time for you to get familiar with your programs and meet your classmates and lecturers. Attending School and Program Induction is compulsory for new students. 

You will receive an email invitation from your schools via your RMIT mailbox closer to Orientation Week. Please check your mailboxes regularly.

Family Welcome Day: 22 and 26 October

Register for Family Welcome Day

This event offers your parents and family members a chance to learn key information and gain valuable insights about RMIT University, allowing them to connect with your university experience, and be a source of encouragement throughout your exciting transition into university life.  

The event will be delivered in Vietnamese with English translation.

New students will receive Newbie Buzz emails from the University for important information before starting their new journey at RMIT. Newbie Buzz links will be updated here when it's published.
