About Business Club

The Business Club promotes a professional business environment, brings the most valuable information about business to RMIT students to help them achieve their future careers, and encourages members to strive for academic success. The club creates a fun yet meaningful academic experience for those who want to acquire new knowledge and skills while making new connections.


To become the club that organizes professional events related to economic and business issues at RMIT University - Hanoi Campus. Placing our members at the centre of our efforts to drive growth, the club provides an efficient, open, and creative environment to equip RMIT Hanoi students with business knowledge, skills, qualities, and thinking.

Events and Achievements

Community Engagement:


  • Company Visit (SSI): To provide the experience of a real-life working environment, BC collaborated with RMIT Careers department to hold a field trip to SSI – a stock company. This helped participants explore how stockbrokers and fund managers at SSI work every day, so they would know exactly how it was like when working in this industry.
  • Christmas Donation: This event was a clothes donation for poor children in northern mountainous areas of Vietnam. In one week, 250kg of clothes were collected. With the help from an external organization called ‘Ao am cho em’, all clothes were transported to the children in Lai Chau and Lao Cai. It is such an honour to help Vietnamese society as well as promote our image outside RMIT.

2019: Sharing is Caring: This project aimed to bring entrepreneurship and passion for business to the youth. All profits were used to purchase goods and necessities to support the village for impoverished children in Birla Mai Dich, Hanoi.

2018: Plant the Seed project: A project from the Personal Edge program to help students enhance their soft skills and raise environmental awareness. As well as winning the Best Fundraising Idea award, VND 9 million was also donated to those in need.

2017: Christmas: Helped children have a warm and wonderful Christmas with their families.

Community Engagement:

2019: Grant Thornton company visit: Provided student with experiences working in a professional environment in collaboration with the RMIT Career & Industry department and CPA Australia.


  • Childhood Grocery: Encouraged students to take a nostalgic walk down memory lane by selling items such as baby noodles​, bear cake, red dragon, ice yogurt, etc.
  • The Marketeer Contest: Helped students take a closer look at the media (and marketing) industry - one of the prevailing industries that uses a combination of digital technology and social networking.


2020: The Black Cat: A gameshow to bring joy, relieve stress for RMIT students after hours of intensive studying. Through several interesting games, the gameshow quickly increased amazing interaction among clubs.

2019: Confidence Building Workshop: Guided by Mr Nguyen Quang Anh, Ki-Aikido Martial Art Club founder, students explored the principles of yin and yang and various other martial art strategies, and how to apply them in daily life


  • Understanding the Core Values of a Brand: Delivered by guest speaker Mrs Vu Thi Thu Van, Digital Account Manage of AdAsia, students learned how and why branding reflects the values within companies.
  • Personal Financial Management: Students learned why it is so important to have good financial management skills and explored different ways to build budget strategies from Mr Nguyen Thanh Lam from RSM Hanoi Office.
  • Investment Thinking: Guided by Uong Van Quang, Stock Analysit of M&A, students practiced their knowledge and explored their own way of learning the basic foundations of securities investment.
