Step 2. Enrol

Before you can enrol online, you need to activate your network and student accounts by following this step-by-step guide. Let's get started!

1. Ensure you have paid the deposit

  • Ensure you have paid the non-refundable tuition fee deposit of VND 20,000,000. 
  • Note: It may take 24 hours for your deposit payment to be updated.

2. Change your password

  • Open your browser (preferred browsers are Firefox or Google Chrome)
  • Go to password page
  • Click on “Change your password - you’ll be asked to log in” tab
  • Log in using your RMIT ID (s-number) and password:

       - RMIT ID: your s-number (e.g. s123456). It is called student ID in your RMIT enrolment email.

       - Current password: the letter ‘p’ followed by your date of birth in reverse order (yyyymmdd) and an exclamation mark (e.g. 28 April 1995 is p19950428!)

     

    • Create your new password

           - New password: type your new password (Tip: Read the instructions for password format and set your password following those rules.)

           - Confirm new password: re-type your new password and then click Change Password

    **Important: Change your temporary password as soon as possible to make sure your student account is secure. You will need your new password to access all RMIT systems, including your student email account.

    3. Activate your RMIT network and email

           

           - Username:  your s-number (e.g. s123456)

           - Password:   your new password

    • Log in to RMIT Student Email

           - Access to Google email (https://mail.google.com)
           - Gmail username: (e.g. s1234567@rmit.edu.vn)
           - User password: your new password

    Note: RMIT University uses Google email for email communication and all official notices from now on will be sent to your student email account.

    **Important:  Before going to the next step, make sure you have completed all the steps listed above.

    4. Log in to the enrolment system

    Access the Online Enrolment System (OES) by clicking here:

    **Important: Vietnamese students must provide details of their National ID Card for the purpose of National Medical Insurance. Be sure to have your ID card ready when you start using OES.

    • Learn about the Online Enrolment System (OES) through the introductory videos and follow the instructions on OES to select courses for the academic year.

    Note:

    • It is recommended that you follow the program map where possible, and you must enrol for the whole academic year.
    • Study Abroad/ Exchange students will be pre-enrolled by RMIT University Vietnam into your approved courses.

    6. What's next?

    • An email will be sent to your student Gmail address within 1-2 hours to confirm your enrolment. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you are recommended to re-access OES to check your enrolment has been saved. For further assistance, refer to the FAQ section on OES or contact RMIT Connect.
    • After you enrol you may continue to add or drop courses until the relevant cut-off date for adding and/or dropping courses in each semester. Deadlines and late fees apply as set out in the Student Fees & Charges Guide.
    • If you want to withdraw completely from your program, please contact RMIT Connect.
    • Familiarise yourself with the important dates on the Academic Calendar, including deadline for fee payment, census date, etc.
