Van Pham has had 25 years’ experience, mainly in human resource management leadership roles.
At RMIT Vietnam she is responsible for managing HR on the operational front, driving an integrated HR strategy that permeates and shapes key plans, strategies, and initiatives across the university.
Immediately before her RMIT appointment, she worked as an Independent Senior Consultant and Executive Coach with clients in Vietnam and overseas on strategic people and organisational development, as well as executive coaching. This work grew from her previous position as Asia-Pacific Regional Vice President HR for BP Upstream which encompassed BP exploration and production operations in Australia, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
Ms Pham has a degree in biochemistry from Lviv University in the former Soviet Union.
She has also completed intensive training courses in strategy, business, leadership, and human resource management from institutions including Swinburne University, INSEAD, the University of Michigan (US), Henley College (UK), JMW and the Communication Counsel of America.
