In her role as Executive Director, Engagement, Jan oversees the departments of Student Recruitment & Marketing, Career & Employability Service, Communications & Events, and Market Research at RMIT Vietnam.
Jan leads in providing a range of essential services that help manage RMIT Vietnam’s brand, including media and communications management, advertising and marketing campaigns, university events, industry engagement projects, alumni relations, and student recruitment.
Prior to joining us in 2014, Jan was the Director of Marketing and Future Students at Monash University, Malaysia for three years where she transformed a 4% decrease in student numbers into a 7% increase.
Jan has over 20 years experience in international education contexts and has held positions at Victoria University, the University of Melbourne, Monash University (Australia) and La Trobe University. Throughout that time, she implemented innovative marketing strategies surrounding admissions, student mobility, branding and communications, and student recruitment and marketing that brought significant benefits to those universities.
With qualifications and experience accumulated over time in a variety of rapidly-changing environments and contexts, Jan has successfully cultivated positive relationships, both locally and internationally, that have greatly benefitted our university.
