Benefit from a relationship with RMIT Vietnam
RMIT Vietnam welcomes collaboration and partnership with industry and business.
The University has a strong commitment to building lasting relationships with industry and business to ensure education and training programs continue to be practical and industry-relevant. The level of engagement with the local, national and international business community grows each year.
RMIT Vietnam offers a wide range of services and programs to help establish and maintain effective partnerships with organisations to develop human capital and further improve the University’s offerings to industry.
These partnerships span a wide range of areas, including:
1. Customised academic education programs
RMIT Vietnam is able to work with organisations looking for opportunities to expand their employee recruiting base and improve the academic knowledge level of their employees.
The goal of RMIT Vietnam’s customised education programs include expanding the pool of potential employees to meet industry growth requirements, improving employee educational development and providing the opportunity to achieve internationally recognised qualifications. For example, RMIT Vietnam delivers a customised academic education program for KPMG Vietnam employees, branded as "KPMG Accountancy@RMIT Vietnam."
2. International industry certifications/qualifications
RMIT Vietnam collaborates with organisations such as Apple, Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Rockwell Automation that offer a range of education initiatives and programs around the world. These collaborations can provide students with RMIT’s world-class education and at the same time equip the students with industry-relevant certificates, which will give them additional credit in the workplace without requiring extensive additional training.
Together with the RMIT Vietnam’s annual scholarship program, the University invites scholarships from organisations wanting to provide opportunities for excellent Vietnamese or international students to receive an internationally recognised degree within Vietnam. Financial support from corporate sponsors can directly support those students of high academic standing who would not normally be able to afford an international degree award from an Australian-based university.
These organisations have already offered scholarships to RMIT Vietnam students:
- Australian Consulate
- Hewlett-Packard (HP)
Sponsorship from an organisation can also come through a variety of other opportunities:
- Prizes for outstanding students
- Funding for student clubs or student club activities
- Laboratories (laboratory usage) and equipment
- On campus career workshops on specific industries
- Industry tours to offer a practical dimension to academic coursework.
The benefits of developing a partnership with RMIT include:
- Direct involvement with students and staff in partnership programs
- Close proximity to tomorrow’s workforce and industry relevant academic programs
- Invitations to RMIT Vietnam events and activities.
