RMIT International University Vietnam today is pleased to announce that 28 full scholarships will be granted to Vietnamese national students in 2009.

The scholarship will be offered for both Hanoi and Saigon South campuses.

Through this scholarship package, RMIT Vietnam aims to create opportunities for outstanding Vietnamese students to obtain an international university education whilst remaining in Vietnam.

The scholarship will cover the total tuition fee of a single degree program (currently worth at least 329.000.000 VND including textbooks) and may include the tuition fee for English courses (from 5.5 IELTS level up) at RMIT Vietnam.

The full scholarship does not provide for accommodation, living expenses, travel or other personal expenses.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence (most recent grades), English language ability, extra-curricular activities, and recommendations from Principals/Vice Principals/Teachers/Employer.

Applicants are also required to write a personal statement of maximum 600 words on "Why I should receive a scholarship to study at RMIT Vietnam."

Fully completed application packages must be received by RMIT Vietnam before 5pm Friday 31 July 2009, and selection results are expected to be available one month after the application deadline.
