TESOL Talks Ho Chi Minh City: Teaching Writing: What’s the Point

TESOL Talks is a speaker series for professional Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages working in Vietnam. A collaboration between RMIT’s Centre of English Language, the Australian Centre for Education and Training (ACET), and the Ho Chi Minh City TESOL Association, TESOL Talks was founded in 2014 with the aim of increasing dialogue between TESOL professionals to further English-language training efforts in the region.

TESOL Talks Ho Chi Minh City will host its sixth event on May 21 at ACET’s Ly Van Sy campus. Entitled “Teaching Writing: What’s the Point?” the event will include a keynote address by The Word HCMC writer Owen Salisbury, followed by breakout sharing workshops exploring best practice in writing instruction and feedback. More than 100 English-language professionals in the region are expected to attend.
