About Carnival Day

The RMIT Carnival Day 2022 is the most vibrant and festive event of the University to promote the culture of inclusion and diversity to our community of staff, alumni and students. It is the occasion to meet and mingle, enjoy outdoor activities and performances, and celebrate RMIT’s growing multicultural community.  

This year's event theme - Together We Grow - echoes RMIT's strategy to ensure we continue to thrive in a sustainable way.

Hanoi Carnival Day 2022

  • Date: Saturday, 19 November 2022
  • Time: 3pm - 8pm
  • Venue: Nang Song Hong Village, 306A Phu Vien, Bo De, Long Bien, Hanoi

Registration for Hanoi Carnival Day 2022 is now closed.

Upon completion of registration, please make sure to collect your ticket at the ticket booth (at Level 5 - Student Breakout Area, Hanoi campus) from 07 November to 16 November 2022 or until all tickets are out.

What you need to know before attending

  • Only ticketed participants are eligible to access the event. Tickets cannot be given, sold or transferred. 
  • Please bring your e-ticket and one of the following documents to the event for security check:
    • Staff and students: RMIT student ID card or staff card
    • External guests (e.g. alumni, staff family members): national ID card or passport
  • Taxi or other public transportation is recommended. 
  • A shuttle bus is available for the Carnival event in Hanoi with prior registration. Please refer to your confirmation email for further details. 
  • Be aware of large public gatherings. Mask-wearing is encouraged.

What's fun?

The festive activities include indoor & outdoor games, kid’s activities, free finger food and drinks, live performances, and a lot of free gifts.

Staff and their family members, students and alumni can attend the event. Due to the limited capacity, only ticketed participants can attend the event.

No, we are afraid that the event is for the RMIT community only. 

No, you need to register in advance and collect a ticket to attend the event.

Registration opens from 16 October to 2 November (for the event in Saigon South campus) or 14 November (for the event in Hanoi), or until the ticket limit is reached.

  1. For the event in Saigon South campus: The ticket booth is located near the ATM corner of the Academic Building 1 canteen. Tickets are available to collect from 24 October to 4 November 2022. 
  2. For the event in Hanoi:  The ticket booth is located in the lobby of Level 3, Tower B. Tickets are available to collect from 7 November to 16 November 2022.

Ticketed children can attend the event and they must always be accompanied and supervised by parents and guardians. 

No. Carnival Day is free to register and attend.  

Food and drinks are provided during the event. For health and safety reasons, do not take home the food provided.

No lockers are provided so please take care of your belongings.

Please respect the privacy of individuals. Do not photograph and film any individuals without their permission.
