Program overview

The digital communications revolution has transformed the way the world conducts business, educates, informs and entertains.

Every time you search the internet, turn on your mobile phone, watch a DVD, play a computer game or turn on your television, you experience a multimedia professional’s work. The demand for qualified creative professionals capable of producing this kind of material far outstrips supply and this demand is growing.

The Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Systems) program educates the multimedia professionals needed to meet demand and become the industry leaders of the future.

RMIT Vietnam provides students with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment so that they can learn in an interactive, project based, industry relevant environment. The international academic staff are locally based media and arts professionals who bring their vast experience in digital media, design, advertising, content creation and conceptual development.

This degree also includes an industry experience project to facilitate faster and smoother entry into the professional workforce for its graduates. Graduates from this degree wishing to pursue further studies at the Masters level can apply directly for entrance.

"My impression was that the lecturers were great. I love our design teacher’s expression, style and point of view about life. I could feel their passion through their speeches, voices and gestures. I will never forget the lesson in which one of my lectures said: “If you want to be a designer, you must think and believe like a designer, even when you are still a student.” What I have gained the most from learning Design at RMIT is knowing how to dream and how to turn these dreams into reality."
