An internship is the placement of a student within a company or other organisation for a period of time to give them the opportunity to gain direct work experience before graduation.
An internship can be one of the best ways for university graduates to enter the job market, and is greatly valued by most employers of graduates around the world..
RMIT Vietnam operates a comprehensive program to help students prepare for and enter into a positive internship.
Most undergraduate degree programs at RMIT Vietnam also have specific courses that are coordinated with an internship and add further value to it. This enables students to combine their theoretical knowledge with an understanding of ‘real world’ needs.
During their internship, students obtain a richer educational experience through the support and mentoring provided by professionals, being part of a team, and accumulating skills which directly relate to them reaching their career objectives.
