RMIT International University Vietnam has three semesters per calendar year with intakes each semester for most academic programs (subject to demand). The semesters in 2011 are:

Semester 1:  20 February 2012 - 26 May 2012
Semester 2:  18 June 2012 - 22 September 2012
Semester 3:  15 October 2012 - 19 January 2013 

(Please note: Postgraduate programs are not guaranteed to have an intake every semester each year. Please check with Student Recruitment for continuation of upcoming intakes.)

Admission requirements

MBA (Executive)

The MBA (Executive) program has two entrance pathways:

(i) Academic + work experience

A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution and evidence of substantial, relevant work experience. Typically this will consist of at least five years experience in a managerial position since completion of an undergraduate degree.

or

(ii) Management + work experience

Entry may be granted to applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree but can demonstrate through professional work experience their capacity to successfully undertake this program. Typically this would consist of at least eight to 10 years of business experience, at least five of which must have been in a management role.

MBA

A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of Credit or above.

English language requirements

To proceed to a post-graduate program, non-native English speaking students must provide evidence of one of the following:

  Successful completion of RMIT Vietnam English Advanced Level (Level 7)

  IELTS 6.5+ (no band below 6.0)

  TOEFL Paper based 580+ (TWE 4.5+)

  TOEFL Computer based   233+ (TWE 4.5+)

  TOEFL Internet based 92+ (no band below 20)

Note: TOEFL and IELTS are recognised for two years from the test date. RMIT English results are only recognised for one year from the test date.

Application procedure

Application deadlines for 2012 are:

  20 April for June intake

  17 August for October intake

  14 December for February 2013 intake

Offers will be based on academic merit (Bachelor degree or equivalent). Students who wish to apply for credit for previous studies should contact Student Recruitment for further details.
