Program Structure
The Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Systems)
This program is comprised of 21 core courses, four program electives, an industry experience project and three general electives. Completion of the program requires eight semesters of full time study (equivalent to a four year undergraduate degree at RMIT University in Australia).
The Diploma of Design
The diploma program provides an alternate pathway into the RMIT Vietnam Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Systems) degree for those students who may not meet one of the direct entry requirements.
In this program students take courses in university-level academic English and contemporary study skills as well as foundational courses in design-multimedia, programming and business. The program aims to develop critical thinking and analytical skills that can be applied in many fields and a wide range of professions.
Successful completion of the Diploma of Design allows students to apply for entry into semester 3 of the Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Systems) degree and more importantly, it will deliver 96 credits (equivalent to two full time semesters) towards their undergraduate study. Completion of the program requires four semesters of full time study
