Unilever – RMIT Engineering Scholarship

One scholarship is offered to a new student enrolling in Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering) (Honours); or Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) (Honours); or Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) (Honours). This scholarship is awarded to an applicant who has achieved outstanding academic performance and shows a strong passion in Technology or Engineering.

Scholarship value

One-time off scholarship valued at 75,000,000 VND granted to one individual.

Eligibility

  • Be a Vietnamese national
  • Completion of Grade 12 in the Northern provinces*
  • Academic requirements: a minimum grade 12 GPA of 8.0/ 10.0; 
  • English requirements: IELTS (Academic) 6.5+ (no band below 6.0) or equivalent

* Northern Provinces includes Hà Nội, Lào Cai, Yên Bái, Điện Biên, Hoà Bình, Lai Châu, Sơn La, Hà Giang, Cao Bằng, Bắc Kạn, Lạng Sơn, Tuyên Quang, Thái Nguyên, Phú Thọ, Bắc Giang, Quảng Ninh, Bắc Ninh, Hà Nam, Hải Dương, Hải Phòng, Hưng Yên, Nam Định, Ninh Bình, Thái Bình, Vĩnh Phúc

Selection criteria

The Unilever – RMIT Engineering Scholarship is awarded on merit and takes into account past academic performance, passion in technical/engineering and engagement with social/environmental/sustainable activities.

There is a screening and shortlisting process. Academic performance is currently weighted as follows: 60% GPA year 12 + 30% GPA Year 11 + 10% GPA Year 10.

Scholarship application requirements

You are required to submit a regular application for study to RMIT and provide the following supporting documents for scholarship consideration:

  1. A personal statement (300 - 500 words) in English outlining your passion in Technical/Engineering and your goals in life.
  2. Proof of any achievement in technical contests (automation, young creator robotics, etc.
  3. Proof of any participation in extracurricular activities that related to social/environmental/sustainable topics.

  • 15 September 2018: Scholarship recipients notified

Unilever – RMIT Digital Marketing Scholarship

One scholarship is offered to a new student enrolling in Bachelor of Digital Marketing. This scholarship is awarded to an applicant who has achieved outstanding academic performance and shows a strong passion in improving Vietnamese lives and economics.

Scholarship value

One-time off scholarship valued at 75,000,000 VND granted to one individual.

Eligibility

  • Be a Vietnamese national
  • Completion of Grade 12 in any provinces outside of Ho Chi Minh City
  • Academic requirements: a minimum grade 12 GPA of 8.0/ 10.0;
  • English requirements: IELTS (Academic) 6.5+ (no band below 6.0) or equivalent

Selection criteria
