RMIT Vietnam students have the opportunity to study in Australia at RMIT University, Melbourne, on a Student Exchange Program.

The program allows students to study for one or two semesters in Melbourne at the same tuition fee paid in Vietnam.

This program is also available for students from RMIT University in Melbourne or from other universities who want to study in Vietnam.

RMIT Melbourne has two main semesters each year: from February to June and from July to November.

The RMIT Vietnam campus runs three semesters per year, from February to May, June to September and October to January.

RMIT does not have on-campus housing. The University has a Housing Advisory Service which assists students to find suitable accommodation.

 

Admission

Students applying to go on exchange to RMIT University Melbourne need to have achieved at least a credit average over the two most recent semesters of study to qualify for the Student Exchange program.
 
Exchange Student Application Deadlines:
 
RMIT Melbourne has two main semesters each year. The dates are different from RMIT Vietnam. There are long lead times between when student must apply and when the student will depart on the exchange, so it is important to plan well ahead when considering participation in the Student Exchange Program.
  • RMIT Semester 1 (February - June): Deadline is 15 June of the previous year.
  • RMIT Semester 2 (July – November): Deadline is 5 January of the same year.

  • Proof of English Proficiency IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6)

    Note: If applying, please do not send personal statements, CVs/resumes, academic references, home institution exchange forms, or other documents. Please do not staple or bind the application. The application requests that students indicate their course requests on the form. Students can change their courses if necessary after arrival.
