President's Executive

The President of RMIT Vietnam, Professor Gael McDonald, has constituted the President’s Executive team for the purposes of strategic planning and overall leadership and management of the Vietnam campus of RMIT. The President’s Executive consists of the following:
  • President and General Director

    Professor Gael McDonald, President and General Director
    Professor Gael McDonald commenced as President of RMIT Vietnam from 17 February 2014.
  • Vice President (Academic)

    Professor Beverley Webster - Vice President (Academic)
    Professor Beverley Webster is responsible for the planning, development and integrity of the academic affairs of RMIT Vietnam.
  • Executive Director (Students)

    Mr Steve Paris - Executive Director (Students)
    Steve Paris leads Student Services at RMIT Vietnam, focusing strongly on the student experience.
  • Executive Director (Engagement)

    Ms Jan Clohessy - Executive Director (Engagement)
    Jan oversees the departments of Student Recruitment & Marketing, Career & Employability Service, Communications & Events, and Market Research at RMIT Vietnam. Jan leads in providing a range of essential services, including media and communications management, advertising and marketing campaigns, university events, industry engagement projects, alumni relations, and student recruitment.

    Professor Rick Bennett - Head of School of Communication & Design
    Professor Rick Bennett leads RMIT Vietnam’s School of Communication & Design.
  • Head of School of Business & Management

    Associate Professor Mathews Nkhoma, Head of School of Business & Management
    Associate Professor Nkhoma leads School of Business & Management to ensure the School's positive impact on Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region.
  • Head of School of Languages & English

    Mr Jake Heinrich, Head of School of Languages & English
    Mr Heinrich is responsible for leading School of Languages & English in its mission to provide language instruction for students on a higher education academic pathway.
  • Director, Communications and Events

    Mr Conrad Ożóg - Director of Communications and Events
    Mr Conrad Ożóg provides leadership and strategic direction for RMIT Vietnam’s external and internal communications and events activities across the university.
  • Director, Finance; Acting Executive Director (Operations)

    Mr Le Minh Khanh - Director of Finance
    As Director of Finance Mr Khanh Le is responsible for RMIT Vietnam’s financial compliance and business growth.
  • Director, Human Resources

    Ms Pham Thanh Van - Director of Human Resources
    Van Pham manages HR operations at RMIT Vietnam.
  • Head of Campus, Hanoi

    Mr Phillip Dowler - Head of Campus, Hanoi
    Mr Dowler works with staff members across the Hanoi City campus to foster the development of RMIT Vietnam in Hanoi, providing day-to-day monitoring of RMIT Vietnam operations and services there.
