RMIT International University Vietnam is offering a one-day course on "Leadership and Management Skills in Education" for high-school Boards of Management on Thursday 29 October 2009.

Participants are Principals, Vice Principals of key high-schools in Hanoi and Haiphong, and representatives from Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

"The course will cover such topics as historical overview of management development, management and leadership styles and tools, and emotional intelligence and current trends," RMIT Vietnam Professor Merilyn Liddell said today.

"This is an initiative by RMIT Vietnam to support local high schools. We have designed the course with a hope to give senior education officials an opportunity to advance their management skills and share their leadership experience."

The course will take place between 8:00am and 4:30pm in La Veranda Function Room, Sofitel Metropole Hotel, 56 Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi
