During November, visitors to RMIT Vietnam’s Academic Building Two were wowed by the student design works on display as part of the University’s annual design showcase.

The student work featured in the showcase had passed a rigorous selection process, including judging by key industry partner representatives such as Mr. Tran Hoang Hai, Founder of Lumigrade Ltd – a media production house and marketing solution provider, and Mr. Martial Ganiere Founder of Platform5 – a company that make websites and applications, as well as members of RMIT Vietnam’s design teaching team.

Held annually to recognise and celebrate outstanding student design work, this year’s RMIT Vietnam Student Design Showcase featured work across six categories of communication design, interactive design, animation, photography, illustration, and film and motion.

RMIT Vietnam President Professor Gael McDonald acknowledged the expertise of the key industry partners involved.

“It’s wonderful to see our students receive feedback and input from industry leaders, such as those on the design showcase judging panel,” Professor McDonald said.

“As well as a big congratulations to our students on their exceptional design work, I would like to thank our industry partners for their continued contribution across our programs such as the showcase, internships and industry engagement committees.

“This support is so valuable in helping our students achieve their potential and succeed in this highly competitive industry”.
