More than 40 major employers, from professional bodies to NGOs and private enterprises, took part in the annual Career Expo held last Friday at RMIT Vietnam’s Saigon South campus.

The highlight of the University’s ‘Career Week’, the expo was attended by around 2000 students who visited exhibition booths and talked to a wide range of organisations for first-hand advice on career planning and possible job opportunities.

Now in its seventh year, the event was presented in collaboration with sponsors including P&G, Bayer, CPA Australia and Vietravel, TRG International, VNG Corporation, Virtuos Vietnam, Robert Bosch, East Agile, Subway and Baskin Robbins.

With the theme ‘Make the most of the moment’, Career Week 2013 encouraged students to take advantage of all the opportunities offered at RMIT Vietnam to prepare for future career success. The event also aimed to provide students with essential career development tools to navigate the best pathway for their career journey.

Students had the chance to attend interactive panel discussions and information sharing sessions with alumni, staff and industry professionals, enabling them to gain valuable insights into the professional world in order to make a successful transition to employment after graduation.

Other activities included career development workshops to help students build self-awareness, determine their interests, strengths, personality and values, and learn how these can help them to achieve career success.

RMIT Vietnam provides students with a range of services to promote successful entry into the workforce and develop effective career management skills. More information about the RMIT Vietnam Career Centre can be found at
