Call for chapters for new handbook on sustainable development issues

Tuesday, April 24, 2012 - 17:26

A group of RMIT University Vietnam academics is working in cooperation with Australian academics and a publisher to edit a new handbook on sustainable development issues in South East Asia.

The book aims to be a practical guide to resources available to assist people with an interest in this important field – the first of its kind in this part of the world.

As part of the project, they are now calling for chapter contributions under five major headings. These are listed and explained at the link below.

Please go to the link below for more detailed information, or email sustainablecommunities@rmit.edu.vn

Academics involved in the project are Professor Linda Brennan, Dr Lukas Parker, Mr Duong Trong Hue, and Ms Doan Mai Anh, all from RMIT Vietnam, along with Professor John Fien, Professor of Sustainability at RMIT University in Melbourne, and Dr Torgeir Watne of Victoria University, Melbourne.

Submission deadline for abstracts is 15 May 2012.
