We are very pleased to announce the inaugural economics research conference organised by RMIT University Vietnam - the Vietnam International Economics Research Conference 2018, held on 8 August 2018.

The research theme of the conference falls on a wide range of economics issues. We are particularly interested in academic papers that are applied, empirical and policy-relevant in nature and related to emerging economic issues. Pure theory papers, though are not our main interests, will also be considered. Research students and early career researchers are welcome.

On this occasion, we are delighted and honoured to have Professor Le Van Cuong from Paris School of Economics as our keynote speaker at the conference. All papers submitted are eligible for the Best Paper Award. We will also organise a session on publication strategies which emphasise on how to write scientific articles to get published in high-impact journals.

Please refer to the attached conference flyer for further details including the key dates.

Please contact Dr. Le Thai-Ha at for full paper/extended abstract submission or any other general enquiries for the conference.

Thank you for your kind attention and we look forward to seeing you at the conference.
