RMIT Vietnam is an English-speaking campus. All employees are required to meet a minimum standard of English language proficiency. Different positions have different set minimum standards, as outlined in the table above.
- For any role, English Language Proficiency may be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
- For Academic Teaching Staff, English Language Proficiency may be proven by showing completion of PhD and/or Masters qualifications while being instructed through the medium of English, and have been teaching in an English-speaking environment during the previous 24 months.
If you are unsure of your current level of English Proficiency, RMIT Vietnam will provide opportunities for you to undertake English competency testing if you are shortlisted for the position.
