If you want help with finding a job, updating your CV, writing a cover letter or gaining experience in your industry the Job Shop can help you. Ask the Job Shop staff and they will accommodate your job hunting needs.

The Job Shop is a free service offered to all RMIT students while they are studying and 2 years after they graduate.

The Job Shop staff are students, just like you, who have been trained in careers skills. They understand the conflicting pressures you experience in gaining employment while studying and know the best ways to address this.

To get your CV reviewed at the Job Shop, drop in between 9am - 5pm to get help from the Job Shop Assistants. Or you can book an appointment here.

If you’re wanting to apply for jobs that require experience consider improving your CV through volunteering, casual work or internships. The Job Shop staff can help you in finding volunteer, internship and work opportunities relevant to the type of job you wish to apply to.

The Job Shop can help you in locating graduate programs with applications still open, graduate programs with mid-year intakes and full-time positions in your industry relevant to your experience. Further, they can help you in identifying the graduate programs you’re most interested in and finding information on the next graduate intake application period so you’re prepared if you wish to apply the following year.
