The role of a Career Counsellor is to help students make well informed choices about their career paths.
Individual career counselling is available to enable students to:
Develop a personal portfolio by increasing their self-awareness in terms of interests, skills/strengths, personality type, and values Find a job that best matches their personal portfolio Explore a career direction Determine whether academic studies match career aspirations
All counselling is strictly confidential, and discussions are not shared with other staff, family members or anyone else without the student’s consent.
