Leisure Clubs

Accounting Club:

The Student Accounting Club supports RMIT Vietnam accounting students. With support from the Accounting Department, the club organises regular accounting quizzes, holds workshops and offers tutorials for students. It also has strong links with accounting companies and organises regular industry tours.

Business Club:

The Student Business Club is one of the most active student clubs at RMIT Vietnam. The club creates a variety of opportunities for all RMIT Vietnam students to learn outside the classroom. They host Business Manner Training, Time Management Workshops, assist in Career Day and organise charity events. Through these activities students can gain valuable experience, explore their potential and build up their portfolios for when they join the workforce.

Design Club:

The Student Design Club supports RMIT Vietnam Design students by holding regular tutorial classes focusing on graphic design, website creation, 2D interactive animation and film and audio events every semester.

English Club:

The Student English Club supports and promotes RMIT Vietnam English students and the RMIT Vietnam community in speaking English on campus. They do this by organising fun activities such as debates and public speaking events every semester. These are great activities for students to increase their ability and confidence in speaking English in a range of environments.

Environment Club:

The Student Environment Club has been running since 2008. It aims to raise the community's awareness of environmental issues through exciting, creative, meaningful and relevant activities. Annual events held by the club include Earth Day and Green Week. Recycling drives have also proven to be popular and successful semester activities.

Game Club:

The Student Game Club has created a place for students and staff to relax and enjoy the thrill of computer and console games on campus. The club offers a wide variety of games and has plans to expand in the future with 'real world' simulation games. International Club:

The Student International Club has been providing support to foreign students since 2007. The club aims to help these students adapt, understand and get involved in their new environment. The club also organises regular activities and provides assistance to other clubs for their annual events.

Aikido Club:

The Student Aikido Club was established to provide students with an opportunity to practice a modern martial with added benefits of creating new friendships and improving overall health and wellness. Female's Basketball Club:

Derived from the RMIT Student Basketball Club, Female's Basketball Club's aim is to connect and provide a qualified playground for all fellow female students who have the same interests in playing basketball through the training sessions and end-of-month parties. By joining the club, members also have the chances to learn and self-develop by competing in friendly matches with other universities' teams.

Ultimate Frisbee Club:

The Student Ultimate Frisbee Club brings an exciting new sport to RMIT Vietnam. It provides a fantastic arena for all students to develop their team-work as it is a mixed gender sport. The club participates in numerous annual tournaments, such as the Singapore Open Tournament and the Vietnam HAT Tournament. The club also hosts mini tournaments and frisbee workshops.

AIESEC:

AIESEC, the world's largest student-run organisation, is an international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential so as to have a positive impact on society. AIESEC RMIT HCM was established in October 2008 and similar to other AIESEC chapters, offers RMIT Vietnam students and recent graduate's opportunities to be global citizens through Leadership Roles and Global Exchange Programs.

C.A.N. (Community Action Network):

The C.A.N. club provides opportunities for students to volunteer their time and skills with a number of charities, NGO's & INGO's. Members visit hospitals, orphanages and care facilities as well as making improvements to the lives of people in all areas of the community. Some areas where members are most active include: teaching English, scholarships, shelter clean ups, and a variety of other community activities.

SIFE: (Students In Free Enterprise)

SIFE is a global non-profit organisation, supporting university students and providing them with opportunities to empower them to teach ethical entrepreneurship in local communities. RMIT SIFE was established in April 2009 and worked with Saigon Children's Charity - Thang Long School. At the National Competition of 2009, RMIT SIFE was awarded the Spirit of SIFE Award.
